Tegen de achtergrond van de rijke geschiedenis en cultuur van het land organiseerden de kinderen verschillende wiskundige activiteiten. Ze maakten denkbeeldige reizen door het land, telden op borden, berekenden kortingen voor toeristen die de Peruaanse keuken wilden proeven en voerden statistische berekeningen uit tijdens het beklimmen van de trappen van de citadel Machu Picchu.
