Brisa’s favorite dish is lomo saltado. She likes swimming and wants to be an architect when she grows up. Brisa is grateful to be at her new school, Brazos Abiertos. Although she is very shy, it is difficult for her to make friends, but little by little she is integrating into the group. She is a responsible student and concerned about her studies. Brisa lives with her parents, and of her seven siblings, five live with her. Brisa is the youngest, along with her sister, who is in second grade. Her other siblings are adults. Her father owns a store; he is just starting out since he doesn’t sell much. Her mother just had surgery and is convalescing. She asks for prayers for her mother and for security for her house, since it is made of wood and thieves can easily break in.
