The entire extended family of Colegio Brazos Abiertos had the privilege of honoring the mothers of our students. Through songs, poems, skits, and readings of biblical verses, our children expressed their love and appreciation for their mothers. Afterward, the mothers enjoyed moments of joyful fellowship in the classrooms, where they were affirmed in the love and respect they deserve for fulfilling the vital role of raising and shaping their children. We give thanks to God for the lives of these beautiful, brave, and hardworking women—the best friends to their children—who strive every day to give them nothing but the best.
The Mother’s Day celebration at the church was a truly beautiful occasion. It was a delight for all the men to be able to celebrate this day in honor of all the lovely, beautiful, wise, and virtuous mothers; it was a truly special evening of family togetherness.
