Caring for Creation

Psalm 19:1: “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim his handiwork.”
In June, we began our science and technology course by learning more about plants and God’s beautiful creation. We learned that we must care for the environment, which is a gift God has given us.
While touring the school, we noticed that we didn’t have any plants to decorate our school entrance, and so we began our project, “I plant a plant, I care for the environment, and I beautify my school.”
In class, we learned about plant care and the types of plants. We decided by majority vote to plant ornamental plants, and as planters, we had to reuse materials. I am grateful for the support of the parents in making this project possible.
We must care for God’s creation; we must be aware of our responsibility as stewards of the Earth and take measures to protect it.

Freedomhouse Team

We are grateful for the wonderful time we spent with a mission team from Freedom House, USA. The children, teenagers, and adults worked together to grow in their relationship with God through English and sports lessons. They also participated in evangelism, home visits, practical work, and a wonderful healing service on Sunday, where many hearts were touched by the love of Jesus and received healing.

Independence Day

Every year, Peru’s Independence Day is celebrated in style. This year, the celebrations included fantastic classroom presentations spread across the coast, the mountains, and the jungle. The children also did a great job celebrating their freedom through theater and dance. There were also various typical Peruvian dishes to sample. We are grateful that God has given us freedom.

Conference for Families

On June 28 and 29, the conference “When You Say No Is No?” was held. Principles for managing boundaries in parenting and family relationships were shared. The school and the church worked together to serve the families of the community not only with teachings from speaker Alfredo Chile, but also with delicious food enjoyed by attendees. Children and adolescents attending the Brazos Abiertos programs were also able to showcase their talents and progress.
God loves families and wants them to be spaces of freedom and joy.

DTS 2025 graduation

The first DTS (Discipleship Training School) is over. We are thankful to God for all the students and staff who made this possible. 5 intensive months of walking together and learning from the Bible and then putting what we learned into practice during the outreach in Bolivia and Chile. It was great. The next DTS is March 1, 2026.

Father’s Day

It was a wonderful time of games, music, and a sense of excitement as we watched our children express their love for their father. And all of us women work together, concerned for the same cause. Spending time and working with each other is an experience of living together and getting to know each other better in every aspect of our emotions and character. Above all, we give our best, regardless of fatigue. We are very grateful to God for each experience we have with each other and for being able to serve in whatever way we can, as long as God wants. Blessings.

DTS Norway

How grateful we are that we can receive so many teams from abroad to show the love of Jesus together. This time we had a DTS (Discipleship Training School) team from Norway visiting. Working together for 2 weeks to tell the good news everywhere through testimonies, drama, singing, practical work, sports and speaking. In the classrooms at the school, in different churches and even at a big evangelism event in the south of Lima. God is good and faithful.
