Sixth Grade Graduation.

Thanks to the Lord for allowing us to witness the culmination of this group of students’ primary education. It was an unforgettable day for everyone: parents, students, and teachers. We rejoiced to see our students happy, and the ceremony was the result of teamwork: parents, teachers, and students—together we made this great event a reality. We give glory to God and honor His Name for allowing us to be instruments in the lives of our students.
We are confident that every word sown in their minds and hearts will bear fruit of justice and truth in this new stage of secondary education.
The students will always remember the love, affection, and time we gave them during all these years at Brazos Abiertos.

Medical Campaign

After receiving donations of medical equipment, we’ve now held two medical campaigns for the people of the slum. It’s a wonderful way for the Christian doctors to use their free time to serve the people with their gifts and talents. We’ve also been able to share the gospel and invite people to church activities. God is faithful and good.

Teens Zone Closing

Today we joyfully celebrated the closing of Teens Zone 2025, a time when we learned the commitment to love God with all our hearts and challenged ourselves to grow even more in the coming year of 2026.

We had a lovely gift exchange, shared pizzas, laughter, and a blessed atmosphere. It was a special time to get to know each other better, strengthen our unity, and remember that God continues to write something beautiful in each of us.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” — Deuteronomy 6:5 (NLT)

Thank you to all the Teens for being part of this family. Here’s to a 2026 full of faith, growth, and purpose!

Achievement Day

SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY 2025
The teachers and students of the Early Childhood and Primary levels of the school organized this event in which they demonstrated the fruits of their research and study, as well as their preparation in scientific topics.

From the description of native Peruvian plants, their medicinal properties, and their importance in sustenance, to the observation of the universe, scientific experiments, and more, it was a joyful and rewarding occasion for the entire school community.
In addition, the children researched the lives of great Christian scientists such as George W. Carver and Isaac Newton, integrating all their research with biblical verses that acknowledge Christ’s lordship over Creation. May God continue to nourish the hearts and minds of the entire Brazos Abiertos family.

Feast of Light

Thank God, the Feast of Light event was a great success. All the children from the neighborhood, the school, and the church in general came together. God was praised, the Word of God was preached, and many were ministered to by the power of God. Let us continue to pray that many more families will be saved.

Mission trip to Satipo.

Thank God for allowing us to visit the Castillo Fuerte Church in the Satipo jungle. We shared God’s word through sports, door-to-door visits, and church meetings. It was a great blessing, and it was good to put Matthew 28:19-20 into practice. All honor and glory belongs to God.

Fancy Fair

Every year, Brazos Abiertos School provides each of its 185 students with a free package of textbooks and educational materials worth approximately 250 soles (US$75.00). To help with this expense, parents, along with the entire ministry staff (Church, School, and Mission Base), worked together to prepare and sell delicious Peruvian dishes, participate as a family in fun games, purchase quality products at the market, and improve our personal appearance.
This would not have been possible without volunteers, people who came from far away to support this event, donating their time and effort to help achieve the fundraising goal.
We thank God for blessing this event, and we pray for His full provision for the educational expenses of our 185 students.

Olympics 2025

WE HONOR GOD BY IMITATING THE GOOD
The children of our school celebrated a great sports festival from September 27th to 29th.
For the third consecutive year, they competed in various sports, emulating their heroes in all the good things they exhibit: effort, skill, and self-improvement. Remembering that we honor God with everything we do, they gave their all as a testimony of their faith.
The parents participated with their encouragement, company, and enthusiasm, making this event a great impact for families.
We thank God for all those who worked to make this event a reality. We especially give thanks for missionary Emmanuel Ozuna and his father, Pastor José Ozuna, who came from Mexico; both are physical education teachers and were in charge of coaching the children and leading the competitions.
A very important lesson that these types of activities teach us is that we must keep God in mind in everything. By engaging in physical activity, following a competition, or showing admiration for a particular athlete, our children can also learn biblical principles, as Pastor José Ozuna reminded us when he quoted 3 John 11.
Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is from God, but he who does evil has not seen God.

Bible Month

Where Open Arms join together to continue sharing the word of God with children in preschool, elementary school, and the church in general. Also, a powerful message from the word of God with our international pastor, José Ozuna. Seeing up close the hand of God touching the hearts of children, adolescents, and families in general. 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
